Wahhhhhhhh – I cannot believe we are going to Walt Disney World in Florida soon, for two weeks of magic, fun and (hopefully) sun! I first visited WDW in 1990! I was 9 years old and we went over Christmas & New Year. It was then I fell in love with all things Disney! 29 years on (omg!!) and I can still remember back to that holiday. When we go next month it will have been a whole 8 years since we were last there! Living in a different country and coming ‘home’ for visits and then eventually moving back put any big holidays on the back burner for a while. Lauren was 8 when we went and Caiden wasn’t even born so this will be his first visit. We are all so so SO excited. This past (almost) year since we booked it has actualy gone by really quickly.…

We’ve not long returned from a few days away in London. We’ve been lucky enough to visit London a good few times this year but I have to say these two days were possibly one of the best we’ve had. We travelled to our hotel on Friday morning, checked in and basically parked the car in the car-park for the duration of our stay. London transport is so easy to use and so frequent it’s the best way to get around. We got the DLR & Underground to the South Kensington so we could access the Natural History Museum. The queue into the museum was pretty lengthy but we decided not to venture off to do anything else because we had ice skating booked for a few hours time outside the museum. We didn’t get a huge amount of time to look around by the time we finished queuing so it’s definitely…

My Top Tips for Visiting Disneyland Paris in the Winter Months. It might be freezing cold but it won’t stop you from having a wonderful time. We went to Disneyland Paris in February last year and although the weather was cold we had a fantastic time and we didn’t let it spoil our time there. On the lead up to us going I was reading on some forums that fountains had frozen over, drinking water fountains had frozen pipes and all sorts. It was kind of handy to be honest because we have never been on a ‘cold’ holiday before so it enabled me to be prepared for our trip. I made sure I packed things that would help us on our trip and I thought they would be handy to share my tips and tricks with you if you have a trip planned for the colder months. Layers…

Booking a holiday to Disneyland Paris can be overwhelming and sometimes confusing .. especially if you’ve never been before. There are lots of different ways to book, lots of accommodation to choose from, ways of getting to there and different meal options. Booking your Disneyland Holiday. There are various different companies you can choose to book with. We chose to book with Disney Holidays direct themselves. Very often they run different offers which could be free meal plans added, a percentage off your holiday, buy a number of nights and get the same again free, children under seven stay and play for free (which would be free hotel and park tickets). If you’re planning on making a booking it’s worth checking back every so often to see if they have added on any special offers. A few other companies I have heard people using are Magic Breaks & Thomas Cook.  I’m sure there…

I thought I would do a little throwback series for the next few weeks re-capping our holiday to Disney World in Florida. At the time of going I kept a daily blog which was only ever used for that holiday and i’m so pleased I did. Every night I would sit down and document what we had done each day even down to what kind of weather we had. I love reading it back every so often reliving the memories. On this day we went to Disney’s Aquatica water park. Todays Weather – 77f (25c) Well the drive into the park looked really promising, it was quiet n the car-park despite it being a good hour after it opened so we hope that meant the queues would be nice a low for the rides. The first ride we went on was the water slide that sent you through the dolphin…
