I thought it might be nice to do a post at the end of each week to document what we have got up to over the summer holidays. We’re booking up our diary nicely with lots of fun activities so I just hope the weather is nice, dry and sunny.
Monday 18th July 2016.
The first day and after a super busy weekend we had a really lovely day at home. The weather was absolutely beautiful and sunny so C & I spent the day on the garden. He spent 6 hours in and out of his paddling pool and we both just really enjoyed pottering around. I put his slide into his pool and he loved sliding down into the water. He had so much fun. L was still at school.
Tuesday 19th July 2016.
We headed to a local splash park with my Sister & Nephew. Again the weather was glorious so we packed up a picnic off we went. We set up a sun tent for my nephew & C run of some energy in the play park and then the splash park. It’s great we have it so local and all for free. We didn’t go home until we had an ice-cream and fed the ducks though 😉
Wednesday 20th July 2016.
We are members of a local holiday park and our membership allows us access to their three local parks. We spent the day at one of the parks today and had a great time. It actually felt like we were on holiday. We lounged by the pool whilst the kids had fun in the outside pool! Such a good day with lovely friends.
Thursday 21st July 2016.
We had a day at home today – we did have the company of my sister again and my little nephew. C just spent the day happily playing with is toys – when we’re pretty busy he does like his days at home. We went out for dinner in the evening though to celebrate a business milestone. We wanted somewhere with sea views so we chose a restaurant on the beach.
Friday 22nd July 2016.
We headed to Hoburne again today – this time with my sister & I also met some friends there too. The weather was beautiful again and C found himself a little ‘friend’ who we played with all day. You loose time when you’re there so it was a bit of a rush when I got home to get the dinner sorted in time for me going to work that night!
